Tulsa Friends of Chamber Music

Tulsa Friends of Chamber Music Mission Statement:

We are a professional music volunteer organization that enjoys the depth and spiritual fulfillment that can be felt and shared by playing good Chamber Music, such as music duets, trios, quartets, quintets, sextets, septets and even octets and small chamber orchestras. We try to have as much variety in our programs as possible, including music from the Classical Periods, Romantic, 20th century and Contemporary. If possible, we strive to be inclusive of String, woodwind and brass repertoire, duets and even jazz and polyphonic Bach. Our concerts are usually of a fund-raising nature and some of the organizations we have been affiliated with or have helped are:

  • Shriners
  • NAMI (National Alliance for the Mentally ILL)
  • Missions Trips to Uganda and Kenya
  • Progressive Supranuclear Palsy
  • St. Augustine Academy
  • Zarrow Manor (Jewish Retirement Center)
  • Manna Relief
  • Restore Tulsa
  • New Orleans Missions
  • BUS Concerts (for Tulsa Shelter for the Homeless)
